Each carbon project has a unique identifier (ID) that indicates the registry where it is registered:

• VCS - Verra Carbon Standard (e.g.: VCS2547) - The world's largest carbon credit registry system
• CAR - Climate Action Reserve (e.g.: CAR1019) - American registry
• ACR - American Carbon Registry (e.g.: ACR1000) - American carbon registry
• GLD - Gold Standard (e.g.: GLD7737) - Swiss standard for carbon and sustainable development projects
• CDM - Clean Development Mechanism (e.g.: CDM1234) - UN Clean Development Mechanism
• GS - Gold Standard (e.g.: GS1234) - Modern version of Gold Standard
